The Philippines once more ranked as one of the worst airports in the world.


The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) according to a list by US website, NAIA is among the ten worst airports because of its poor facilities and long queues.

The article mentioned the airport’s overcapacity, which has resulted to long queues.

Also, “Travelers complained about the airport’s rundown facilities, impolite staff and officials, and long wait times,” article said.

Last 2013, was already named worst airport by the travel website, Sleeping in Airports.

The Department of Transportation and Communications appealed for the public’s understanding while renovation works are ongoing which expected to be completed by April 2015.
