Jordan Brand will be celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Space Jam with a re-release of the classic Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” that was originally debuted by Michael Jordan in the film with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes.
20 years later, the Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” will be remastered similar to what Michael Jordan originally wore during the 1995 NBA Playoffs with its traditional all-Black mesh and a patent leather upper. Other details include a Concord Jumpman, stitched number ’45’ on the back heel of the shoe. Nike Air insoles, White midsole and a translucent outsole, with the Jumpman/Jordan logo on the tongue of the shoe.
The shoe will come in a special edition Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny box. The Box includes a Space Jam theme graphic, with the number ’45’ on the wrapping paper. The Air Jordan 11 “Space Jam” will release as a remastered version during the holiday season launching on December 10th, 2016 at selected Nike and Jordan Brand retail stores at a retail price of $220 USD.
Moving on with the new Nike Special Force Air Force 1
Nike Sportswear is finally adding some new kicks for the rest of the year with the Nike Special Force Air Force 1 sneaker. This shoe is the updated version of the Air Force 1. This shoe is inspired by military fatigue colors and was designed by Ben Kirschner. Also known for designing the Jordan Future. The shoe features a premium full grain leather, ballistic nylon material, adjustable ankle straps, and secret shoe tongue storage.
This shoe is expected to be released on November 5 via the SNKRS App and select Nike stores with a retail price of $200 USD.
